H. Schreiber was founded in Luton in 1974, initially trading in the importing of brass woodscrews. The company continued to expand its range of products to include many types of woodscrews. HSL then fell on hard times in the late 1990s but following a rescue take-over by The One Group in 1999, the company's finances were stabilised and it began to flourish again, expanding the product range and customer base. H. Schreiber's reputation for flexibility and reliability is founded upon a close working relationship with suppliers and customers. Today the company provides a next day delivery service of a wide range of fixings and fasteners to all parts of the UK and Ireland.
